2045hrs on Nov 22^nd Penn Yan Fire responded to Second Milo Rd. for a fire under the front porch.  Upon arrival Asst. Chief Simpson reported smoke showing from under the porch under the residence and the fire was possible out.  The fire was taken care of quickly, and PYFD was only on scene for about 40min.  PYFD responded with Engine 1, Engine 3, Rescue M5, Tanker 18, Cars 9-01, 9-02, 9-03, and over 35 firefighters. Himrod Fire Department was request mutual aid with one tanker and manpower.
